Jay Johnson

A little about me – I have been a licensed REALTOR since 1998 and was also working at Progressive Chevrolet and I advanced steady there which made it hard to leave and focus on my Real Estate Career, So I ended up having 2 careers.

I initially got my start with Ramsier & Company. At that time most agencies were not interested in a part time agents, but Bob Ramsier welcomed me aboard and helped me to get started in this business as a part time agent, I stayed with him for 7 years selling 30 homes along the way, Bob retired and things were not the same so in 2005 I joined an Internet based agency called WebMLS and had some good years while there as well selling 30 homes – I joined Keller Williams Legacy Group in June of 2012 with a goal of turning this into my full time career. I partnered up with Amie from 2014 to 2021 and we made a great team selling 116 homes during those years, but COVID came and things changed.

I retired from Progressive in Nov 2022 and will now be focusing solely on Real Estate for the next 15-to-20-year chapter of my life. My knowledge of the Real Estate market is very strong. I have been through many different market cycles, and I continually take courses to improve my knowledge to better represent you – my client.

My only real vice is I collect Hot Wheels/Johnny Lightning etc and have a very large assortment of some really cool cars.

I am also very heavy into dog rescue and adoption, I work alongside my wife Dawn at Dj’s Paw Rescue, a 501c3 nonprofit in the state of Ohio. We average 65 to 70 adoptions every year.
